| Tranquil Thorns 2008-04-16 ch 1,  | abuseI adore Stephen King's work, and though I haven't read Dreamcatcher I was pulled in to read this. I'm not exactly sure what's going on, but something tells me that was part of your intention. I like the way the 'point of view' seems to change around, from 'him' standing to the surroundings and then to the first person at the end. The images roll one after another, disconnected but somehow connected all the same. Interesting mood. It's creepy in a subtle way, and it raises questions and makes me think. Who is he? What's going on here? What's the situation around this poem? All in all, a thought-provoking poem. |
