I'm not an Englsih poetry reader normally, but the title caught my attention to the point that I couldn't just ignore your text, and I was surprised. Surprise by the structure of your poem, by the way you made the story evolve through two perspectives, one being when he left and the other being when she receives the letter. Really it made me feel bad with this woman, like it was my husband who had gone to war. Nicely written. Good job! I like it really much!
