And not to mention how well written it is. There are two main types of writing: 1 straight forward (ex: The Twilight Series (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!)). Stephenie Meyer is an expert at that kind of writing, and it's really, really beautiful! 2: Descriptive: Where the author uses big or unusual words, lots of alliterations, metaphors, similes, etc. (ex: The Rowan Hood Tales (SO GOD!)) Nancy Springer does an excellent job with this!! Yours, I think, is straight forward. Really great writing, and not loaded with descriptive words. p.s. I don't know whether this was the effect intended, but, dang, if your story didn't make me hungry!! It made me want to have a really greasy slice of pizza! Is-Is that good?? |
