I don't know which one I like better, this one or its sequel. They were both really, really good. It's ironic how her desire for a new face turned into the "cure" for her acne. The things people will do for beauty. It almost makes plastic surgery not look as bad.

I love how Chloe made everything she did sound so plausible and normal, like every girl who has bad acne goes out skin shopping at least once a week, and I think that's what made this work so well. She wasn't just some static, pulled-out-of-the-formula psycho waving a butcher knife. She was a person who had a problem and who solved it by thinking outside the box. Way outside the box.

All in all, awesome writing.

That was actually really good.
I hadn't expected something so unsettling, but it worked quite well.

I could suggest adding a bit more thought on part of the main character, but it wasn't exactly lacking much.

I was a bit iffy when I first clicked into this one, but you did an excellent job. The way it's told seems almost casual, which makes it even more disturbing.

I don't know if it was intended but I think the story truly illustrates the way some people will go to extremes for beauty. Sure, illustrates it in an extremely dramatic way, but all the same.

Part of me wishes you'd gone a different way with the ending however. It seems sort of unfinished, like it just sort of stops instead of completing. But maybe that's just me.

I love this story. Whenever I had acne when I was younger I just wished I could cover it up or grow new skin, and you took that fear and hatred that girls have about having "flawed" skin and made something chillingly touching.
