I love how Chloe made everything she did sound so plausible and normal, like every girl who has bad acne goes out skin shopping at least once a week, and I think that's what made this work so well. She wasn't just some static, pulled-out-of-the-formula psycho waving a butcher knife. She was a person who had a problem and who solved it by thinking outside the box. Way outside the box. All in all, awesome writing. |

| Nixosia 2008-04-22 ch 1, | abuseOuch. I was a bit iffy when I first clicked into this one, but you did an excellent job. The way it's told seems almost casual, which makes it even more disturbing. I don't know if it was intended but I think the story truly illustrates the way some people will go to extremes for beauty. Sure, illustrates it in an extremely dramatic way, but all the same. Part of me wishes you'd gone a different way with the ending however. It seems sort of unfinished, like it just sort of stops instead of completing. But maybe that's just me. Great story.
