I love the line "Painting a canvas / Bright, vivid colors of the world" It's so... pretty. :) Simply pretty.

It's funny because I have a poem also based on her poem -- called Caged Bird. Although our poems are definitely different. I'm sarcastic by nature, so mine's sarcastic. I like yours better. It tells of hope, and mine's a bit darker, more morbid in a way. I like the hope lacing this one's tone.
