For the record, I'm pro-choice too, but there are circumstances where it really bothers me. Like you're in your twenties and your fooling around and you get knocked up and don't want the kid (bad grammar, sorry).

Wow. I've no words for this. It's haunting, but I think that's what makes this poem work. I agree with the message 100%, by the way. Not only was Daddy a rapist, but Mommy had to carry a child she never wanted. So sad.
