The premise of a seemingly random group of people picking a seemingly random girl sitting in the park to mock bothered me originally, but despite the fact that very little is known about any of the characters, I felt a definite connection with Winnie, and could empathize with her heart break and the tragedy. The story was definitely successful at conveying the emotion that Winnie felt.

Poor thing. That just wasn't nice. "laugher" should be "laughter". Nice work. Keep writing!
