| Solemn Coyote 2008-04-28 ch 5,  | abuseThis is a lot better than Shane's journal, both in terms of continuity and character development. Despite the inherit weirdness of Sid's character, the things that happen around her almost feel normal. I'm going to attribute this to her perspective and to good writing. Also, I really like how some of the more occult characters are treated not as monsters but as people...albeit people who are slightly longer of fang and shaggier of hair than the rest. Chewie sounds pretty cool. All in all, the story here skips a little bit. Just enough not to be completely smooth. But otherwise it's pretty compelling. I enjoyed reading it. -SC |
