a captured time

it's honesty, to the point of a picture
you can take it so many ways, but it is what it is
yet it is poetry in every sense

you could be ever so old or quite young or in the middle
but it doesnt touch this
this is as beautiful as finding something floating around on the streets

abuseI love the last line of this. I don't know what it is, but I just love that line. I like how honest this poem is; I've been there so much, and this is just straightforward and simple, not covered up by a bunch of flowery language. I also think it's appropriate that it's written in this style when the poem mentions Bukowski, because this does seem very raw and gritty, and that always reminds me of Bukowski. Anyway. Very nice poem. Keep writing! :)
