I like how honest this poem is; I've been there so much, and this is just straightforward and simple, not covered up by a bunch of flowery language. I also think it's appropriate that it's written in this style when the poem mentions Bukowski, because this does seem very raw and gritty, and that always reminds me of Bukowski. Anyway. Very nice poem. Keep writing! :) |
