I love that she doesnt fall for her teacher. like, when astryd says things would be different if she likes him back, she says no, because of his authority over her and stuff. its a text book answer most girls would give, but you dont see it often in fiction.

so I kind of love you for that.

I also love the small world thing that happened when everyone ended up being related. very twisted, but it shows that you're an excellent plotter. or storyteller. like, you foreshadowed and all that jazz.

did I already say it was obvious where ambrose was? but mostly because I couldnt imagine where else he'd get to. I think I've said this before.

it was a bit obvious, since I didnt know what other trouble he could possibly get into.

he hates ambrose, right? hmm.

I love the way you set everything up with her friends and her school and all the kids there, and then the reveal that she's part fae. very nice!

still, i really liked this; bit darker than i was originally expecting, and totally different from (what i remember of) the previous story.

Hmm. I really was expecting Emiko to come back in. I mean, it works as an ending, but certainly for a series and not so much for a single-book conclusion. Too much emotion left to be released. ^^ And new things being introduced about Max in the last chapter is just cruel. Oh, well.

I think this changed more than I expected. I seem to remember more about gang signs and nun chucks and moves that I could figure out from my brother's karate, but was guessing at mostly. That said, this draft did seem easier to read. I think. I don't remember the first draft amazingly well, but just the same. I do think the school bits flowed a lot better. It worked. Agh, but now it's over for that long! @_@ Too bad! I have enjoyed it. ^_^ Maybe you'll come back with even more new ideas though. Take care.
