Your poem means alot to me now, because I've just finished reading "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" - have you read it? A wonderful read. The ending ends so abruptly, I kept re-reading and leafing through the book to see if someone has torn the last few pages off.

Anyhow, you've made me think alot about emptiness...

I like how your last line - "staring back at nothing, forever." alludes to the nothingness of history. It makes everything more ephemeral.
