This story hits me very hard, in fact, it hits my heart. Since you have written everything in first-person, I feel that the narrator could have been anyone.

I hope this isn't referring to your own personal experience...but if it is, my prayers are with you and your family...yes, it's always hard to be the one left behind, so I wish emotional strength upon all of you.

I looked up Cslkfjsofjeosi ( that upspellable cancer). I'm assuming you're not over 65...the survival rate is pretty high. is your case terminal? I know you said its inoperable but go to some more doctors. some more specialists. How many more months do you suppose you have? This is crazyness. This is crazy.

You know, we don't know what is next. We're scared of that and we don't want to go there because it means losing or letting go of what we have here- our relationships. But maybe, maybe when we leave, we go somewhere where we don't remember our pain of leaving. And we start all over. Or we find the things we havent found yet. Maybe, your next true love is waiting for you, and he's been waiting and waiting for years, just for you.
