Not all poets are able to do that properly, but you pull it over very well. Congrats. Another positive: I love the ending to this, despite how sad it might have been. I think the ending is what managed to bring the poem all together! Great job!

"right now, you’re not ready to face the world it was too soon for you, dearie but that first day is always the worst, and besides" I really love this part it reminds me of someone I lost before they ever got started.
