This was brilliantly written; it was extremely thought-provoking and challenging. I found myself mulling over parts from it several times in the past week. As always, I admire your use of detail (and appreciate the times when you were more circumspect), and your characterization skills. Like Jen and Tommy, I would have liked to have known what happened between Rosamund's doubts and her death, but it's so much more appropriate that we not know. I really like the fact that we go through most of the story thinking she is this amazingly strong, confident Christian, and then find out only at the end that she is, in fact, only human. Definitely brings home the idea that it's all of God! Thank you again for putting this back up--I really appreciate being able to read it in its entirety! |
