This is a very touching poem with some powerful language pushing the concept of loneliness and friendship. Near the end, you rely less on the powerful imagery seen in the middle of poem, and that was a bit disappointing. As long as this poem keeps people going and friends together, than your intent was fine.

Nice job- I liked the cadence of thw words, though not quite rhyme the rhythmic feeling was there and I liked it; it felt/sounded natural.
