I really like this. I wasn't sure if I was going too, but their were a couple of lines throughout that changed my mind.

Such as,

"she doesn’t smile much but she sings",

"with clipped wings that still wish to fly

tears in my eyes that I cannot understand",

and the last stanza.

The last stanza was beautiful.
