hey. this, like so many of your other poems, hits something deep within me. i find that i cannot relate with firsthand experience to this one, but i know, from your description, your language, your exclamations and questions and capitalizations and italics---i know what you felt when writing this, and through your poem, i know what this person-whether you or some friend or some imaginary person-went through. congratulations, this is unbelievable!
