aww, i liked this story! "short n' sweet" seems to fit perfectly, sometimes writing something thats not a huge novel is more difficult than a short story and i think you did it really well :) i empathised with the separate characters easily, and there was enough going on to give a nice flow and direction. :) i'll read more of your stories too (just not.. yet, i can't promise anything!)
