I love the abundance of sensory details here. And awesome summary. It definitely makes you want to find out how he comes to that

Wow! Great, Great description. This entire chapter could be considered something straight out of some family story, if it weren't for the story summary that explained that little Paul ends up killing everyone. The fact that I already knew that changed it from cute childhood story, quickly into really creepy 'what-is-the-kid-really-thinking' type of deal.
