I don't think this piece was funny at all. You managed to take a serious topic and portray it quite well. Don't be so critical of your work! LOL. Anyway, I liked how you portrayed the death scene. It was almost as if I had been there myself. Great job!

The only thing I would suggest doing is fixing up the end just a bit. I thought the dialoge was a big transition too quickly from her thoughts to her voice. Just try to clear it up a bit. Other than that, I think you have quite a powerful piece here.
