abuseFabulous I love that as you got into the facts you kept the comedy but didn't let it overshodow the seriousness of the topic, I loved it!

abusethis is great
you obviously put alot of research into it and it's really interesting

i dont like, however, when u said "join me" - a bit informal
but that's just MY oppinion

and i think we love rollercoasters (etc.) so much because it's controlled fear. deep down we know there's only a 0.01% chance something bad will actually happen, compared to jumping off a cliff where there is a 0.01% chance you'll be perfectly okay
and really, it's all about accomplishment
- we're scared shitless of the ride (etc.) but we go on it anyway, it lasts for 2 minutes and then we get off
and we get this huge feeling of accomplishment
because we faced our fears and lived - we came out okay

and personally, i LOVE rollercoasters

abuseIf this is a school assignment, I hope it got an A. I kinda smiled at the paragraph about the amyglada because we studied that in psychology fall semester... The beginning paragraph is very laugh-worthy. Monty Python and the Holy Grail is an awesome movie. "Thou shalt count to three... not two... not four..." Ah, I can't remember the exact line, but you know what I mean. And I sympathize with your irrational fear. I feel the same way about white vans (because they hit me and it hurts >

abuseFrom your introduction, this looks like this will be a humorous tale of a boy and an evil rabbit. Frankly, I was excited to read this and see what you would do with the topic. In fact, I adored your introduction-- absurd and very much promising a whole story full of modern comedy, reminiscent of Terry Pratchett or Davis Sedaris. Fun to read and hard to ignore, certainly!
But then it became painfully clear that this was not in fact a humor story. I guess that some people would be interested in an essay on biology, but this isn't the same audience that cares about bunny-fear. This false advertising will, I'm sure, cause many other readers to have the same reaction as I had, and frankly, the essay bit was rather boring. What was the reasoning behind starting out strong and then faltering into *gasp* facts?
