Dead and Dreaming 2009-01-18 . chapter 1
I thought I would return a favor but, this was a very well written poem I liked it a lot you had a good way of words and the focus of the story was something familiar and close...well I love the lines belonging to someone that you can become if I jump from the roofs and miss the ground and the last stanza good job, really liked it.

The originality with the descriptions and imagery made it all flow perfectly. Each stanza is like the stages of life, growing from a child getting older with each stanza. This poem had a good rhythm that made it easier to understand and read. It wasn’t as chaotic as your other poem, but it was written just as well. This is other one of your poems that I enjoyed reading a lot.

This is a great poem. I love the philosophic questioning throughout. "Careful/not very realistic holes in the fabric of Universe" is a really good way of expressing the depth of the feelings, but with honest tentativeness. I like the point of view too, as if a group of people were thinking the same way; you can almost picture a bunch of heads nodding in agreement. You also do a nice job of mixing images in: "pink-purple sadness" could be a really distasteful cliche, but it works in this piece. There are also some fairly mature observations in this poem, such as: "this is not the world I was made to believe in". This brings a wider world into collusion for the deceptions of the antagonist.

In the end this poem seems to speak of her suicide and the peoples' fear of joining her.
