This...this story was surprisingly warm, deep, quite moving. I'm very quickly becoming a fan of your style, and I more than look forward to spending time reading more of your fiction.

Thank you so much for sharing this story. I really enjoed reading it, though I'm a litle confused. Does this mean Etahn knew Jack had taken his key and had taken Jack's ring to get even? Or did he just take the ring, so that eventually they would have to meet up again? Well, either way, I really liked it. The idea and plot was very different from what I usually read, but it was very well written. I can't wait to read the sequel now! *goes off maniacly to read sequel* Lol. Great job. 8D

At some parts of the story, I felt you were telling me too much without showing what the characters were doing. Maybe that style moves things along faster for you, I'm not sure. If you have a reason for it, especially the fast forwarding during the second chapter, then it might be fitting.

Overall, made me think--which is great!
