i like the end. especially the sarcasim disease romantacism epidemic comparason. that was good. the short chapter just makes you want more to read.

Philomella = person who was killed in 1925. AKA ghost.
Explains strange appearance (pale), young age (a child), prior knowledge of the accident (unperturbed).

your random story has got me interested. who is this man, and what did he save you from? do you think all those fortunes (the paper parts, at least) that Mar ate will come back to bite her? oh yea, what is the relation ship between Mar, Ion, and Aurelie? (and how do you pernounce them?)
