Wow. That was such a twist at the end!
Very well thought out, and executed. The beginning made me a bit uncomfortable, as I seemed to be reading something a bit private. The descriptions were very intimate, and set the atmosphere very well.
But the ending was just...

i didn't read this i just want to say to never use this title again...EVER!

the dark eloquence of the story makes it powerful; i would consider cutting the end a bit, particularly where he's explaining himself. if you intended it to be a confession, of sorts, that could work, but as is, it reads a bit like an interview, and draws away from the shock factor of discovering he was a male to begin with. (for instance, the sentence that begins, "remember that there are witnesses..", strikes me as almost redundant. of course we remember. who's he speaking to?)

but i like the concept here. quite a lot. it stands alone well and has very much the potential to grow into something dark.
