A beautifully engaging and sombre tone for, what is, a very well written emotional and powerful piece.

Wow, this is amazing. I just kinda found it randomly when I clicked on 'what's new' and maybe it was because today was just an emotional day for me in general but this story really hit. I don't think I have any suggestion as to improve your writing because it did (at least for me) exactly what I'm sure you meant it to do.
Only thing is that in one of the final paragraphs you put 'whole' instead of 'hole' but no biggie.

it's a painful memory, when I read I just felt a lot of pain and hurt, I hope you're ok.

it's a good story by the way.
