"Submerged in self-pity"

is the best line in this poem, it feels like someone face down and it fits how self pity feels. The rest of the poem is okay, I think it could have been done a bit stronger, but it does give the emotion and feeling I think you wanted to convey. I'm sorry this is how you feel, though.
