Typical of me to put the figurative first." it's a bit sarcastic and it fits in well with the rest of the .. short story? not sure if you'll be continuing this but i like it as a short piece

I thought this was extremely well-written, awesome apocalyptic imagery. Do you read a lot of Ellis or Palahniuk? This reminded me of those two.
