I think that this poem can be interpreted in many different ways... I guess that it is about a girl dumped by her boyfriend. Yeah, I love to create back-stories for poems.

I like the rhythm of this song, especially the 'of some T, some TLC' bit. Usually when reading songs, I'm somewhat stunted because I don't have tune to sing along to with it in my head. However, I hardly thought about that during reading this. The line 'tip your hat' was really cute, but it didn't rhyme with 'back' (really), so that annoyed me a tad.

Still a really good song.
