If you've fallen in love with this story, then please continue it. Because I think I've fallen in love with it, too. This would be a creative way of telling how the Salem Witch Trials began. The girls started by having fits, right? And no one knows how or why the fits started... And here is your character, throwing a fit to scare off a suitor... Doesn't it suggest anything? I never would have found a reason more convincing!

I really think you could turn this into more than a one shot. It's got a lot of potential to be a full story. I really liked the emotions you managed to get into such a small space. I can't even imagine living in those days, fear that one little quirk might set you up to hang. Of course, what she did wasn't one little thing...but still! Really good, I enjoyed reading it.

when i opened my e-mail and i read the user name i was like "huh? i never heard of her. but oh well lets see." and i clicked. but wow. good job. and nice plot. however i didn't understand why they let her out. also i thought most schools already had summer break.
