I absolutely adore the final line. I like where I feel this story is going; it's a theme that can never be repeated too many times. For the most part, this first chapter is very fast-paced and suspenseful, drawing me in, but some parts are a bit of a hindrance to the overall effect. Writing can almost always be perfected. I hope to read more of this at a later date!
