Simply, wholly, and completely true. One of my friends is going down one of these dark roads as well so I know exactly how you feel. It hurts to know that the person is going to hurt them in the end, and that they are not good at all, but you love to see them happy. You really have no idea how much this resonated with my heart. You want your friend to see what they have become and what kind of image they are showing to everyone else, but they're blinded...
