Wow Misty you are simply brilliant. A brilliant genius. How is it that I even love your villains? See the great effect you have on readers? And your character developments are interesting. I have to say I never thought this is how it'd all end up. I had presumptions, but nothing that matched to this degree. I'm so glad there is a sequel! Congratulations on finishing this story! You did a fabulous job! Brilliant work, mate!

That's all I've been screaming through out this chapter. This is so sad...all three of them are sad...actually make that four. Hibiki is a sad thing too...Regardless of all this...excellent chapter.

Wow...firstly have to say you really know how to set and pull your reader into the scene. I felt as if I was there in that room with Gaspare. I truly feel sympathy toward Yuka, but...her way isn't the way to go. I guess the wound from her love is so tragic in her heart that she no longer cares what is the right way or not. Also I really liked the beginning of this chapter. I actually had something amusing to say in regards of that, but after reading the lower portion of this chapter...my hands are kind of numb...Excellent chapter!

Finally! I'm in the same boat as Shiori. You've built the story so that along the characters readers also begin to anticipate, worry and dream along with them. Excellent chapter. I bet of course you already can presume what was my favorite part :D!

Hello! Finally I get to read this! So excited. I think I am insane because in this spotlight I should be hating Hibiki for the way he's acting. But instead I'm so happy to see him make an appearance (even if its small) here! And Gaspare, there is no words to describe him. He is one of a kind. You can tell through this chapter that his consideration toward Yuka is clearly originated from the love he has for Shiori. I'd like to think it's actually love for two people. He's doing this for Shiori and maybe Hibiki, since they are friends, and perhaps Gaspare wants the man to come to his right senses? (But even if he doesn't I'll support him!!) Anyways excellent chapter! Can't wait to read the rest!

Very well written! Having a musical background myself, I'm really appreciating all of the musical imagery.

I found myself frantically reading non-stop until I reached the epilouge... and felt angry at Yuka, frustrated at Gaspare and Hibiki, thankful that there's a sequel.

I'm hoping that this story will take a turn for the better soon, especially for Shiori. Losing Gaspare to Yuka was just disappointing! I'll move over to the sequel now and conitnue to read.

This really was a terrific ending. Just open enough for us to guess what'll happen next and just closed enough for this to be the end for the first passage.

I really am hating Yuka right now. Oh my god, talk about backstabber. And poor Gaspare. It's almost like being to nice is a crime nowadays. You get taken advantage of so easily.

Still, I have this for the brain. I wonder if something will happen between Shiori and Matsuoka while Gaspare's gone. That would be neat, I mean in the end it could be her ultimatum.

Phew, I'm trying still trying to catch up with your recent chapters, but I'll get there soon, for sure!

I enjoyed your expansion into Gaspare's family as well as Shiori and his relationship. However, I can't help but feel uncomfortable.. there seems to be more to him than what is shown. Hibiki is an enigma as well. His relationship with Yuka is interesting- different from the usual sort found in shoujo manga. One of the things I like most about this story are the the Italian phrases you add in. they give a nice authenticity to Heartbeat Crescendo.

I'll keep my eye on this story for sure!

Wonderfully written story you have here! It made me gasp, it made me squeal, and Yuka made me get so angy when she stole Shiori's piece xD
I love the hint of romance between Gaspare and Shiori, it's the part that made me squeal.
