Awesome story and it's so true, Christian funerals aren't supposed to be sad. Passing from this world into heaven is a glorious thing. The only thing that i think could have made it better is if you didm't use any cliches like "weight of the world on my shoulders". The flow is a little choppy but then there is also something interesting to the way you have layed it out.
