I still love this story! I have been on FP hiatus for quite a bit and have been keeping up with this story--haven't had a chance to review until now, so my apologies. I've been reading your work since "The Obsession with Jack" and still marvelous. You've probably forgotten me due to my constantly changing pen names and being gone for about a year or two but anyways, cannot wait for the next chapter!

How can swallow think that luca would think he was imaginary? Jenny wren talks about swallow?

I like the first part of the chapter with jenny moving in. It revealed her character more.

I don't know why, but I was going lol the whole time I was reading this chapter as if it's something humourous. Eh must be me going too high after watching AC Milan booting Real Madrid at away last night for the Champion's League football match. :S Anyway, it seems that Jenny Wren did have a ceratin means to make people trust her, huh? I think apart for Tor, everyone in Luca's family actually trust her. And I might have missed something, but who is Gordie anyway? I know Nameless was the pet dog, but I don't know who or what Gordie is. :S And there are some phrases which makes me go lmao.

[I can see x-rated phrases flying through Kimberly’s head.] Adults do have a higher tendency to swear. This is very true. :D

[Kimberly smiles bravely and gives me a look that clearly tells me that I am a horny teenage boy after one thing—bollocks, really] Another rofl sentence deserving of mention.

[I drink the rest of my milk down so fast it stings my brain] Reminds me of the good ol' Slurpee ads. Brainfreeze lol! XD

[Kimberly warms to Jenny Wren, she quickly becomes the rescued little victim instead of the evil cult-girl.] As I've said, Jenny did have a knack in letting people trust her. ;)

Just something that bugs me though. Why did Jenny changed her accent out of nowehere? And Swallow playing Tetris is retor. Ditto for him playing the old school Gameboy model as well. And the part on Lamberry makes me go lmao for no reason. I truly hope he gets his own karma for sure.

This is AMAZING.

Wow. Just, like, wow. I've seen this floating around on people's favorites lists and now I've finally got around to reading it, and it's so freaking good. Like, every character is unique and totally thought out and imperfect but mostly understandable, and the suspense/mystery/whatever is super exciting and just makes me want to keep reading. Yeah. I really love this.

You're alright. I have been kind out of commission for over a month due to illness, my own and a co-workers. When someone is out, then we have to work harder.

Anyway, I guess the chapter isn't too bad. I tend to enjoy this story. I guess it is because it is a bit on the weird and different side. I mean, the FAE is out there somewhere. Jenny is a strange girl, and Luca's narrative is not exactly reliable.

Swallow is that type of dark character that you have to love. I would have liked to have seen what would have happened if Jenny didn't show up to the rescue. And, you just have to wonder about her motives. I think there is some truth in the image of Luca being the rabbit led by Jenny's carrot.

Everyone seems to be in character in this chapter. So, it is a good chapter with that aspect. And I can't say that I am sorry to see Liam gone. Swallow is a complicated piece indeed. Why get Liam out of the way for Luca? Maybe he is looking for that friendship in a butchery sort of way.

I would guess that Luca is looking for the FAE secrets that Swallow supposedly has. But, then again, maybe he has none. After all, Jenny is such a liar.

It is a fun chapter, and I look forward to your next one, but I do understand being so late with everything. I have about four chapters in the head for different stories, and I am posting in a very inconsistent way.

Herro there. Moi again. :) Anyway, it's an interesting twist to see jenny attempting to escape from FAE. It's actually something I've failed to guess. As for Swallow, well it seems that he's just as psycho as ever. And from what I've seen at the end of the chapter, it seems that Jenny's relationship with Swallow might be a bazillion times more weird than what I might think beforehand. It's either that or I'm thinking too much. The whole pregnancy twist is a major whammy though. I think it actually came a bit too drastic and I don't even know if it's true. Of course that's me having my brain going apeshit boom after the ultimate failure in finding the gaming videos for Fate: Unlimited Codes during the Tougeki SBO tournament. At the very most, it's only the qualifiers. Guess I'll have to go Nico very soon. :S Don't worry if you don't know what I'm talking here. Not everyone's a fighting game fan and fighting games are pretty much a dying breed on the overall basis. :S Anyway, just a suggestion here. In the future if you feel that you've taken too long to update, maybe you can actually add a brief summary in the updated chapter on what has happened so far, so that the reader won't be lost. Apart from that, can't think up of anything to say. As I've said just now, my brain has gone boom. x.x And you still remember Play Dough? Lol that's just so 90s. :D

Well, actually I planned to review this after updating The Eternal Grail, but I can't bloody wait lol! XD Anyway, interesting stuff on Mikey here. The past flashback was especially emotionally strong in impact here. I really think Luca's relationship with Mikey was rather confusing. It's either that or I'm thinking too much. :S Also, I can say that this chapter really has a great impact on the plot itself. It's not so much on the developments, but rather the impact is within the readers' minds. And is it just me or is Luca really a bisexual? As for the end where Mikey goes on about Jenny Wren, well it seems that things might be coming to a climax given that you've only have seven chapters left. Which kind of sucks because this one's a good story. That is unless you choose to continue your fantasy fic lol! :D I think the title is Peace, right? ;)

This follows along well. I do have to agree with Luca that I find the love/hate relationship between Liam and Mikey a bit confusing.

I am still looking for Luca to have the proper falshback that he actually shot Mikey instead of it being a suicide.

The ending of the chapter seems to give Luca some normal emotions on the situation, or at least what is expected to be normal in that he is confused by the recent events.

It does seem odd that the police are still investigating the scene. It seems like this story takes place over a 6 month or more period. It also seems odd that Ian would want to talk with Luca about it still after such a long time.

Oh well, I am surprised that you can still get so many more chapters out of this story, but I am looking forward to it all drawing together.

Again, I am still enjoying this story! In this chapter you handled Luca's emotions particularly well, especially when he was talking to Jenny in the last scene. And on Jenny's note: is she a fairy? I'm trying to think ahead from what I've read on the story's summary, so I'm probably completely off. Her character though, is interesting. She appears to have a good background story, though not much of it's known yet, and her mannerisms are deffinetely a little strange, in a cute way.

Man, I can hardly wait until I have more time to continue reading! This is such a creative story!

Swallow is strangely more disturbing when he's being nice

This was such a good chapter! You were able to find a happy medium between almost funny sarcasm and Luca's sadness - while still letting your words and descriptions pack a punch. Character wise, I feel like I'm starting to know Luca a lot more now - and I like him a lot. I adore that he's not the typical guy, that he's gone through this tragedy with Mike and what's happening with his mother (which her scene was done beautifully, by the way - both emotional and curious). The plot is something I'm getting very excited about, which probably sounds odd after this sad chapter. But now that I know who Luca really is, I'm ready to get the plot ball rolling!

Golly, I can't wait to read more! Great work so far! It really is fantastic!

To be honest Katie is actually a refreshing change from all the kid roles I've seen so far. As far I know, at least she doesn't go wtf at the dirty talk. And I don't know why, but I feel that if Katie is older, she could have walked down the aisle with Swallow. Yes. Me and my sick mind. :S And what I've suspected has gone true here it seems. Liam got offed by Swallow in a certain wtf manner. Anyway, glad to see a humane side of Swallow. I did more or less suspect it, but you really did well to make it known here. :) As for the ending on the note, I wonder who would be so horrendous to frame Luca and instigating Swallow in a puppet like way. Guess there's a bigger antagonist than Swallow here. Wonder who will that be.

P.S: I don't know if you've put me in your author alert, but The Eternal Grail is up with a new chapter. Or rather it's just a joke interlude having nothing to do with the plot in any way or form. Go ahead and read it. And give me a review on it. Just don't be serious about it because it's just something super random in nature albeit the humor there was really crude. And for your info, I included some of my reviewers in it and you're counted in as well albeit your role in it was only done in a mentioned status. But yeah, I did try my best to make you awesome via a certain video game character. :D

Well, I have a lot of thoughts about Swallow. In the conversation, he seems to be downright friendly, but he's still a creepy bit. If I was Luca, I still wouldn't trust him as far as I could comfortably kick him. He seems to be a ruthless bit in killing Darren. Of course, I am not sure if Darren's death would be more of in self defense. After all, he has made an attempt on Swallow's life already,

The thing with Liam seems a bit vicious, becasuze Liam is still a silly high school kid. He might have needed his ** kicked, but he doesn't really deserve to die. So, killing him seems kind of a childish thing that gets Luca to trust and maybe like Swallow a bit more, but it still puts the boy on the alert.

I would say that you are implying that Swallow wrote the note. I didn't realise that the analysis came back on that and Luca was proved to have written it. I would have thought that would have gotten him in more trouble with the school, instead of him being allowed to come back.

The relationship between Katie and Luca is interesting. I would have thought that he would want to keep Katie away from the FAE as much as possible instead of getting her involved in this mess.

I am still enjoying the story though. It seems to be finally drawing together.

This story is so unbelieveably modern Irish. I dont know why I havent noticed it before. I'm from Northern Ireland and I am fully loving the multiple references to Guinness. Drink of the nation you know.

Great to get another chapter from you. Swallow comes across as more open in this chapter. He's acting the friend and confidant. They seem closer because Swallow is enforcing the similarities and the things they have in common to make himself seem gain Luca's trust a little more. He wants something from Luca but he seems like a better person that he has been conveyed as in previous chapters.
