for the most part your syllable count is just right! the only two that are off is the second line (6 syllables instead of 7) in the first haiku and the first line (4 syllables instead of 5) in the second haiku

this is a great way to journal by the way =]

i really like the first one, it brings back past memories.

the second one however doesn't quite make sense to me.

overall, these were both pretty good for you being a beginner!
