too afraid to leave and

bring soap to a refugee camp

self hate, us privileged few, does not a martyr make

and guilt cannot build anything beyond more of itself

other than that

complacency is warm

while this is an expressive format and you gave interesting facts I would portray these facts in poem form. You are an excellent poet. But, your rants are just like everyone elses (sorry). So I'd stick with the poems. Do one about Hunger you could do some thing excellent with that!
