I liked this- you were making a good point, but it does sound like you're rambling a little bit. I liked the line "Like a talking pastry having an adventure". That was funny! This is pretty good.

Ugh I know how you feel! Anyways, my favorite part of this poem was "And some rather badly-written things/ About some sort of impossibly ridiculous situation,/Like a talking pastry having an adventure" because it made me laugh so hard. :) I liked this, though sometimes it seemed as if you were just rambling. Overall, good work!
