abuseI really liked this. The characters were incredibly likeable, and I thought the names really fit the characters. There was a very nice flow to the story as well, and the dialogue was rather brilliant, plus I love classic movies, so to have a story revolve around these lines.. whoa, just made my day. I actually haven't seen Woman of the Year, surprisingly, so I guess I ought to put that in my list! Now, if only I could find myself a boy who could recite lines from my favourite movies as well...

Oh. My. God.

That was ... BEAUTIFUL! I can't find the words. It was just amazing. Your imagery is so strong... I felt like I was THERE. Gosh, you write so well! The characters and your coherence - man, your coherence - it flowed brilliantly; never too slow or too fast.

I wish I knew all the movies they were quoting; I bet it would have been even more *squeal!* if I knew the corny stuff they were talking about. However, I adore Audrey Hepburn, so there was some link.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Perfect even.

I can't believe I didn't stumble across this earlier!

Write something else soon, okay?

abuseYou did SUCH a good job on this one-shot. I loved it! I don't even have enough words to desribe how much. I just finished writing a one-shot and I thought I did pretty good until I read this. It's making me think of all the things I could have added and done different. But what I like the most is how you incorperated the lines from the movie into your story. It was great!

abuseThat was positively fantastical.
I had to make up a word to describe it.

I love, love, LOVE the way you integrated the movie lines with the story. It was flawless!

And for being so short, the characters still had strong personalities and quirks... I just absolutely loved this story. (And Pete who, if he were real, would be my dream man.) Awesome job! I'm adding this to my faves. :-)

abuseThis is a cute, funny, sweet, and I love this line, "And there is this point during every sunrise when the sun hits the water before rising fully above the horizon and everything, everything, is red and orange and it is beautiful. Just like your hair." You make love so easy. Easy to believe in, to fall into, and to think it can exist without difficulty. Who would have known quoting classic movie lines could be so romantic. Thank you for writing this.

abuseThat was awesome! Sometimes we all just need fluffy goodness, and this was so sweet. The lines of the movies added a special quality to it. :)
