This was very beautiful and very disturbing. The writing is near flawless. The messege couldn't be clearer yet the wording remained subtle at the same time. Wonderful, unnerving, and brilliant.
For numerous reasons this poem is going into my favorites. I love it and the truth behind the words and the feelings it puts off.Plus it's almost lyrical.
It's a weird thing to type, but I really liked the bitterness at the end. ((It's weird to type because it's weird to 'like' bitterness in any circumstance.)) The regret seems normal, the admission of satisfaction, but the bitterness when you realize that you'll inevitably do it again is probably the most painfully sweet part of the poem.
