Averybarbarian 2008-07-07 . chapter 1You asked me to read this poem and I did find it quiet interesting. You said in the poem that one can be too young to love or that is what others say. Love is the willingness to sacrifice as I said in the other review but anyone at any age can be willing to sacrifice. Love is not just some boyfriend girlfriend encounter. Love can occur between children through sharing, one can give of their time to help an elderly person so on and so forth. Love is also a choice. One cannot carelessly fall into it. You said in your poem “so love can be a seed” I quite agree. Love starts small, perhaps with a kind gesture, word, gift, action, or spending time. This little thing is like a seed and with the proper water, soil, and sunlight (and killing of the weeds) it can grow into a beautiful powerful plant that can withstand storms and weeds which try to choke it out of existence. Also with the age thing I personally believe that one can never be too young to love however; there is a level of appropriateness. I personally believe that one should not date until one is ready to get married and one understands who one is and what one needs in a relationship but that is just my thoughts take it as a grain of salt. Other than that I think your poem was well written! I hope I didn’t bore you with all I had to say… Anywhoo I enjoyed reading it =) |
