This is my second time reading this now, as its one of my favourites in this series and i love how you mix the stories in this one and i thought it was an interesting opening, especially since most of it wasnt even about shaun. However, it really confuses me at the beginning because i thought in was in shauns pov, but then suddenly its in meenas, so mabye you could put a break or something to mark the change there?

Hey, I just wanted you to know that I think your Sun Series rocks. I have (so serious) spent the day reading Emry's, Cait's, and Grif's. lol, I did not have any books and was in despair, BUT then I stumbled upon these and they are really good. The character and plot development, the way you add things throughout the stories and continue them in others- jolly good. Thanks for posting and I can't wait for Ly's story!

On to book 3. I'm really looking forward to reading Emry's story because I feel like he's such an oddball in the family. As always I loved this one.

I really enjoyed your story. It was very creative and unique. I've been reading it for oh... Almost six hours straight and I'm finally finished. Yay for having no life what-so-ever. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you what a magnificent job you did. =D

oh yeah and i was reading some of your other reviews and some people were talking about the sexual content, and i think you have just the right amount to be honest, obviously theres a bit more in this story, but thats to do with their relationship, and i do think its important in a book, but you also have the balance of a great fantasy/adventure, so please dont change how you write in your future works!

No Lyskander cant die!! Theres no way he can survive that surely and you cant kill him off, hes too sweet!! And what didn't he tell Regan!

I love Caits condition, the whole not feeling being hit thing is so cool and i totally wasnt expecting the mermaid twist, i love the way there are magical creatures in this series. Plus, your version of a mermaid was interesting.
i also just realised how this series has a really unique cultural background... i dont know, some of the descriptions of peoples dress earlier, seemed quite modern, and the xesos have their scientific advancements (im really hoping theirs more about them later in the series), but then it has lots of olden day qualities, its a great mix!

I love how theres so much going on right now: Xesos looking for Meena, Macs illness, the Kings mission, and transporting Cait to kistta (sorry completely forgot it,) keeps me on edge :D

I liked this beginning, its different than your other stories, in the fact that it doesn't immediately start in shauns point of view, although i was a little confused at the begginning because it seemed like it was, but it was actually meenas.

Great story. I understand about the sex scenes etc but they really make the book, well this book because you could tell that he was like that. Cait was a total surprise. Great character development and i love how all the books characters mix together. Like you get to know about one character from one book and then the next book is about them.

What is a Alphasmart30 is it like a laptop but only smaller? you meantioned it in one of your author notes. How does it work?
