Julius Gillian 2008-07-14 . chapter 1This is a toddlerhood type of poem that you're going to find words like sad and pity escaping from anybody wanting to be sympathetic.
Of course, I'm looking at this poem merely as a piece of literature and not the personal memories which was probably the cause of this piece to begin with. I feel as though this couple, you guys, deserve more of an explanation than what's been given here. If your lifestory for the past seven years can be summarized with the brevity in which has been manifested here, then you've accomplished nothing more than a trite, commonplace poem that doesn't bare alot of fruit.
But I know that's not the case, I can hear you say. This person was my right wing, the person who stayed with me through countless triumphs and tribulations. You've mastered her smile that's clearly distinct from anyone else, her habits, the way she walks and maybe even the little things like her handwriting or nail biting habit. All of this is beautiful to you, yet all that you've written is a sketchy history that means nothing to an observer.
We won't feel that rush of adrenaline you feel everytime you see this person unless you literally give us it, word by word. I'm telling you all this because I believe you could write far more poetically than the information presented here. |
