I like this story. It's crazy, and it's entertaining and Layla's turning out to be a pretty hilarious girl. I also happen to know someone with hair like hers. We throw pennies in there and they never see the light of day again (until she shakes out her hair, of course).

I keep thinking it's Joel calling her, but he dissed the name Joel, she didn't -super- recognize the voice (after all the Joel encounters), and Joel acts like he does any other time when she acts interested in the things Stalker/Concerned human talked about.
