Excellent, I loved the part where it says that she makes her selections by instinct, and not by Dewey. I also liked how you made it sound like the books she was looking for were animals that she was hunting to kill. Surprisingly your poem reminded me of a children's book titled "The Library Dragon." Even though it is for little kids, I'd recommend it as a good read to adults too.
