Yes the world is such a troubled place, in nearly any field or subject we struggle for more. Even if we are going a path far from what society dictates we still struggle for problems on a never-ending road. Are we humans so pathetic fated that we cannot enjoy the little freedom and peace we might encounter in our life?

I am questioning this myself. I like your poem, it makes me think again over things I already had forsaken to think over.

Nice rhythm and theme. I like the sharp contrast between "tender" and "steel-armed".

Should "face for face" be 'face to face'? The first three lines are a bit confusing grammatically. Do you mean 'recall' instead of "becall"?

yup, rhymes like silverstein... it sort of makes you think about the silly poems he writes. like maybe they aren't so silly after all?
