It's an interesting mirror of Twilight...or should I said foil? Too many similarities to be completely coincidental, but this is so much better. A million, gazillion times BETTER.

Also, this story was a lot like Dear Imagination, which I read first and also loved. I'm not sure if it's an inherent stylistic thing or deliberate, but it feels like a recurring sort of writing style theme.

I can't stop laughing! Your story is... A RIOT! In the best way possible, of course! I really love this! Your characterization's AMAZING - it's so easy to fall into them and their little quirks! Already, I mean, it's only the second chapter! I can't wait to read more!

Honestly, about a few chapters in I didn't realize this was a parody (for lack of a better word?) of Twilight. I was all, hey, how come there's a Bella, James, and Mr.Carlise? I have to applaud your skills.

To think that the outstanding usage of cuss words would turn me off; yeah right. I adored this piece. Aha, and I like Violet's character. Favorite part: when they're on the cliff, and Derek's reminiscing of who he considered himself to end up with in the future - some brown haired girl who's a closet "romantic" or something? Total reference to Bella in Twilight right?

Well, the only book of her infamous series I've read is Twilight. Edward's chest being all glistening in some random field made me laugh, a lot. Your story made me choke on air, and the queer things you made references to. Modo Hurai (?) made me think of Charlie the Unicorn - but you probably weren't aiming for that viewpoint.

Your story wasn't a mirror image of Stephanie Meyer's (?) Twilight series, and I'm glad its not. However, I consider your version to be an original, based of another plot..

One thing, just if you were to add anything to it, or revamp it (irony) at any point; Bella seemed to lose her neurotic desperation when it came to hunting down 'he-males' towards the end there. Then again, I'm of the opinion that Bella can never be poked fun of, humiliated, and mocked enough, so that could just be me...

For a simple Twilight parody, it surpasses the real books in just about every way possible. Trust me, I just stayed up all night (11 to 5:30) reading it! @.@ But seriously, this is a wicked awesome story you have. The characters are fun and believable (unlike the ones from a certain series...), Violet is an awesomely snarky heroine, and your portrayal of vampires sounds much more plausible than Meyer's. Sparkly pretty people who drink animal blood all the time? Um, no. Genetically deformed lunatics that actually have little problem killing people? Hells yes. Also, this makes me little better than a... what was it? A Twittard, I believe, but I would really love a Derek of my own. I have a thing for nutjobs, I guess (not like Bella does).

I. Hate. You. That was a pretty beastly ending. You should get that published. Better than twilight, that's for freakin sure. you would get all rich and crap. I swear to Jesus it takes some freaking genius to come up with Derek's lingo. You remain my favorite author, and this story remains my favorite story.
