Wow...this is beautiful in a dark, haunting sort of way. I absolutely love the last two lines!

Very dark and unsettling, but in a positive way. I really enjoyed your use of metaphor, especially your last line before it carries such a poetic weight to it. Spooky and excellent.

"Thrashes" I believe, not "trashes".
This strikes me as incomplete. It's an interesting idea, but too short and not descriptive enough to have much substance--that is, unless it's intended to be this way.

Quite the sinister story you have here. I liked it.
There's just one thing I wanted to point out: you're narrating in the present tense, but sometimes you revert to the past tense. It's not a big problem, just something I thought I should point out in case you tried present tense again. "She stands alone by the river, cold, waiting, passing the time by staring into the iridescent waters as they rippled gently." You put rippled in the past here. Again, it's nothing major, but I was sitting in my house alone, and I read it aloud, so that's how I caught the mistake so easily.
But I really like the story. I really like the whole breathe concept.

This is creepy and dark and a little sinister, and I love every little bit of it :) It has such great detail and you describe it all so well. It's really amazing. Favouritestory favouritestory favouritestory :D:D:D
