I've recently gotten away from writing poetry and such. Thank you for bringing me back to it

Very dark, I like it. The structure is beautiful and the repetition of 'storm' is really well done. I really liked the rhythm of the first few lines, and for me, I would have liked it to have continued all the way, but it's a great poem nonetheless. Oh, and 'as I lay' should be 'as I lie', cos the rest of it's all present tense, right? )
