Hahaha! Muchly amusing! I chuckled a few times, and I AM NOT EASY TO MAKE CHUCKLE! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! MWAHA-what? Oh. Dang. Wrong time for the Generic Evil Laugh, apparently.
The second part was better than the first part, mostly because of Gordon's conversation with the hero. Reminds me of Terry Pratchett! (In case you didn't know, that's an unbelievably big complement. READ DISCWORLD.)
I also liked the Sunday Scroll's review of the book. Way to go!
